What is "The Future Shock Journal"? It's a place where 2 people primarily post: Akolade and Achilles (Note: Not their REAL names).
 
For almost five years, the Future Shock Journal existed on Livejournal. However, after Livejournal.com was bought by The Reds (aka The Russians), we knew it was time to switch. Under their rule, we secretly began building this new blog, as a haven against the communist manifesto which was meant to be our new doctrine. But we knew the taste of sweet freedom which we experienced in the old days, in the long-long ago, and we craved that freedom again.
 
Then, one hot summer night in Leningrad, we made our escape. We fled Livejournal Headquarters, complete with all our blog posts safely tucked into a manilla envelope. Climbing through tunnels and evading spotlights and blood-thirsty guard dogs, we scaled the barbed wire fence and made it over, into safety. And freedom.
 
That freedom is what you see here, the new and improved Future Shock Journal!
